all lost because of cave spiders.
I wish I was exagerating.
I tried to go back and retrieve my stuff.
I died again.
I rage quit.
I shed a tear.
I have learned a lesson.
Tomorrow is a new day.

Aw that is a super depressing story. I think you should play on peaceful even though it's lame. I do that to preserve my world's beauty and my resources that took hours of work to gather.

Btw are you not loving the blocks of coal thing now?! I need to condense down my supply.

I was on a server, so I couldn't get my stuff back.  Also I feel like if I played on peaceful it would be too boring, I think the monsters add one more level of complexity to the game.

Yeah I was super bummed after it happened.  I spent like 2 hours caving in all these really cool ravines that were connected.  I think what happened was that I didn't eat enough, so that my health didn't regenerate and the cave spiders killed me easily.

I do like the coal blocks thing.  Coal is one of those things that I always collect when I see it, even though I don't need anywhere near as much as I have.  So  I wind up with tons of it, and it's really nice to condense it down.

Oh that's lame! I have a hard time liking servers because stuff like that can happen so easily and you lose all that work. I guess it does make it more exciting though. And nice! I haven't done some ravine exploring in a while. It's the most satisfying this to find so much stuff all in the same area haha

Btw guys if you use the actual coal block in a furnace to smelt something it will smelt 80 blocks rather than 72 which the 9 coal bits would smelt for you. Just remember to reload the furnace after the 64 blocks are done. Otherwise it'll be wasted and such
